Arrival at Heartbreak Escapes

By Car and Ferry:

Ferry Kiel – Oslo:
You can take a ferry from Kiel, Germany, to Oslo. The crossing takes about 20 hours.
After arriving in Oslo, drive north on the E6 for about 3 hours (approx. 270 km) to Otta.
From Otta, follow the signs towards Rondane National Park/Rondanevegen.

Ferry Hirtshals – Larvik:
Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Hirtshals, Denmark, to Larvik, Norway. This crossing takes about 3.5 hours.
From Larvik, the drive to Heartbreak Escapes takes approximately 5 hours (about 380 km) via the E18 and E6 to Otta.
From Otta, follow the signs towards Rondane National Park/Rondanevegen.

By Plane and Train or Rental Car:

Flight to Oslo (Gardermoen Airport):
From Gardermoen Airport in Oslo, you can take a train to Otta. The train ride takes about 3 hours.
In Otta, you have the option of taking a taxi or renting a car. (Shuttle service to the rental car company or directly to the house is available on request.)
Heartbreak Escapes are only about a 15-minute drive from Otta.

Flight to Trondheim:
Alternatively, you can fly to Trondheim and take the train from there to Otta (about a 3-hour train ride).
In Otta, rental cars or taxis are available to take you the final kilometers to Heartbreak Escapes.
